Overview
Hope for the Blind successfully held its Thanksgiving Service and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 7th of March, 2026. The event brought together staff, students, some Executive Committee members, some Board of Trustee members, friends from Zaria, Kaduna, Jos and its’ environs, as well as volunteers, partners, supporters, and visually impaired beneficiaries, to celebrate the organization’s achievements over the past year and to discuss future plans.

A CROSS SECTION OF PARTICIPANTS DURING THE THANKSGIVING SERVICE
The event commenced with a Thanksgiving Service where participants expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness and the progress recorded by the organization. The service included praise and worship, prayers, scripture reading, and an exhortation.
Beneficiaries also shared testimonies highlighting the positive impact of Hope for the Blind’s programs in their lives.

Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting followed the service and provided an opportunity to review the organization’s activities during the year.
Key highlights included:
- Presentation of the Annual Report, outlining appreciation to our donors, partners and supporters, advocacy efforts, empowerment initiatives, awareness programs supporting persons with visual impairment, and the major challenges we are faced with..
- Interactive Discussions, where members and stakeholders made contributions on improving programs, expanding outreach, and strengthening partnerships.

Conclusion
